Scratch Meeting at 9am

Wrestling Begins at 10:00 am

Scrimmage Format

-A round robin format for each weight class will be used, so everyone will wrestle everyone unless they are on the same team.  Matches against teammates will be eliminated.   JV slots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Try to have lineups to me by Wednesday, November 27^th.

-There will be no weigh-ins.  Weight classes are as follows. 

100-109

110-119

120-129

130-139

140-149

150-159               

160-169

170-179

180-189

190-199

200-219

220-280

 

-No awards will be given and no champion will be determined.  At the end of each match the winner will be decided by the number of takedowns.

-A singlet is not required to compete; a t-shirt and shorts will suffice. 

Match Format

-Each match will consist of two, one-minute periods with a 30 second break between. Coaches are encouraged to watch while wrestling is going on, and to use the 30 second break to coach their athlete. 

-During each period, the clock will tick continuously.   After a takedown is awarded, the referee will reset each wrestler on their feet, and resume wrestling.
